Sharepoint is great, for those that like it. What I often do, is embrace what you have at your fingertips and learn how to make the best of it.

What I built at my current workplace is a site that is useable, and takes into consideration the user and what they need from it. This has revolutionised the use of Sharepoint at the institution, and made what I love, which is One Source Of Truth (OSOT).

This screenshot example (names overlaid with water pattern) was completely built and setup by me for a streamlined experience. As you would expect, this is the tip of the iceberg for what actually exists.
